DATES ANAMNESIS 2008 KNOW!
In this 2nd edition of ANAMNESIS - on 26, 27 & 28 September 2008 we take popular dances as a central theme. The popularity of dances increased the passed 5 years significantly all over Europe. Traditional dances attracting young publics and festivals and workshops dance are enjoying great success. Do popular dances making a revival or is it just a perception that they gain just recently again popularity? Are they in danger of extinction and are modern dances just trends or will they remain?
In this 3 day during encounter, we definitely are looking for answers. The concept of last year edition remains. Through lectures, debates, workshops and a well chosen selection of documentaries/films about popular dances, we offer the public a space for consideration, reflection and learning opportunities. In this 2nd edition we do not only hear, feel and see, but dance also! Therefore ANAMNESIS invites everyone to join the concert and dance floor! Check out the website regularly to know more!
ANAMNESIS 2007
From 1st November until 4th November 2007, Associartecine welcomed 250 spectators at ANAMNESIS, the encounter for Cinema, Sound and oral tradition. In and around the cultural center of Vimioso, passed 13 films, a workshop Narrative Vj-ing, a lecture around Sound and Oral tradition and an unforgettable encounter with the village of Caçarelhos.
